- Theme: “This Place Matters!”
- Create a 2’ by x 3’ vertical image that will hang from lampposts in downtown Bath, Maine. Your artwork will be outside for two months, in the wind and elements, so please plan accordingly.
- On View: March 15 – May 15
- Materials: Canvas banners may be painted with oil or acrylic paint. Textile techniques may be used to create imagery. Permanent markers do fade. We cannot guarantee the security of your banner but will make every effort to keep it safe.
- Pick Up blank canvas at the Main Street Bath office, 15 Commercial Street.
- Deadline for Submission: March 11, 2010 to be included in the Artist Reception and April 1 for all other entries.
- Reception to Celebrate Banners Over Bath at City Hall (March 12, 5-7pm) Artists, sponsors and friends and volunteers are invited.
- Entry Fee: $20.00, non-profit organizations $15.00
- Sponsors: businesses, individuals and organizations are encouraged to sponsor banners.
- Images may not include advertising or promotional information. Images of the banners and sponsors names will appear on Main Street Bath’s website, www.visitbath.com
