6:30 – 8:30pm – “Voices of the Sea” – Puts the “Blarney” in Blarney Days with Fishermen’s Poetry and Music at the Maine Maritime Museum, 243 Washington Street. FMI and tickets click here.
6:30 – 8pm - Country Dance – with Irish Jigs and more at Bath Dance Works, 72 Front Street, 3rd Floor. $3
9am – “Shamrock Sprint” 5K sponsored by First Federal Savings and Loan

11am – St. Patricks Day Parade – Parade route – Parade begins at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Middle Street, proceeds south to Centre Street, east to Front Street, north to Linden Street, ending at the Gazebo in City Park by the Patten Free Library.
12pm – Tug-O-War at City Hall sponsored by Universe Gym (Bath Wellness Center)
1:30pm – Irish Soda Bread Baking Contest at Now You’re Cooking, 49 Front Street – entries must be dropped off between 12noon-1pm. The judges will be looking for ingredients, appearance, texture and taste. The public is welcome to attend. Prizes will be awarded based on the judges’ scoring, with an extra prize awarded for the “People’s Choice”.
5-7pm - Blarney Pub Crawl – Live entertainment and Prizes at Kennebec Tavern/JR Maxwell/Front Street Public House/Byrnes Irish Pub.
5:30-6:30pm – Liz Lardie helps put the “Blarney” in Blarney Days performing excerpts from her play “Tempory Living Arrangements” at the Kennebec Tavern, 119 Commercial Street, sponsored in part by Flaherty Realty.
7-10pm – Bath’s Blarney Ball – Sagadahoc Preservation Inc. is holding Bath’s third annual Blarney Ball on Saturday, March 15th at Winter Street Center, 880 Washington Street. Live band, dancing, light refreshments and desserts, cash bar and door prizes.
4pm – 5pm – More Than Blarney – Irish-American poetry readings with traditional music at Cafe Creme, 56 Front Street.
ALL DAY – St. Patty’s Day celebration at downtown pubs and restaurants.
ALL DAY – Live music at Byrnes Irish Pub featuring the Maine Public Safety Pipe and Drum Corps.
The celebration will be capped off with the drawing of a winner in downtown Bath’s
