Festival of Trees - December 4 & 5
Location: Winter Street Center, 880 Washington Street

Come view over 20 trees decorated by local businesses & non-profits to benefit the Bath YMCA! This year’s theme is “A Red Hot Christmas.”

Gather in the Children’s Reading Room, where Mrs. Claus will read stories! Children can arrive in their PJ’s, enjoy holiday refreshments and hear live piano music.

Downtown Bath Holiday Open House – 5:00 – 8:00 p.m, December 14
Location: Downtown Bath
Downtown Bath shops, restaurants and banks will be open late to welcome visitors with festive Christmas music, refreshments and a warm friendly shopping experience. Come see Bath’s vibrant downtown lit up and decked in its Christmas best, admire the window displays entered in the Window Decorating Contest and be sure to vote for your favorite!

Trolley Caroling - 5-9PM, Friday, December 7, 14, and 21
Location: Passengers picked up every 30 minutes at Bath City Hall, 55 Front Street
Grab a blanket and a thermos of hot chocolate and hop on the trolley for a night of caroling, as the trolley travels through the streets of Bath.
Bath Municipal Band Annual Christmas Concert - 1:30pm, December 15
Location: St. Mary’s Church, Lincoln Street
FREE annual concert on Saturday, December 15th at 1:30pm. Traditional and popular music of the season.
Candy Cane Train - 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, December 15 & 16

A scenic holiday ride, roundtrip from Bath to Wiscasset. cookies are served, and Santa and his elves are onboard! Tickets $17; proceeds benefit Tri-County Literacy.

Children’s Lantern Parade – 3:30-5pm, December 19
Location: Patten Free Library, 33 Summer Street
Waltz into winter with this wonderfully sweet parade. Gather in the Storytime Room for lantern-making and refreshments. Parents should bring a clean, recyclable plastic soda bottle with label and top removed about 2″ below cap for decorating.

Paul Revere Bell Ringing – 12:00noon – 1:00pm, December 31

Please join us as we sing out the Old and ring in the New Year … a day early… on the historic bell at Bath City Hall. Gather a few minutes before noon at the corner of Front and Centre Streets for singing and a short ceremony, followed by the bell ringing and refreshments in City Hall auditorium. Bring your party hats and noise makers!
