The Kennebec Art Club invites you
to exhibit your fine art at the Club sponsored “Art in the Park” during
Bath Heritage Days 2008.
Spaces are 12’ x 12’ and will be assigned. You may share a space with one other artist. Spaces
are limited.
Check-in and set-up begins at 7
:00 am, Saturday, July 5th at Library Park, Washington
Street (between Summer and Linden Streets), Bath. (There
will be some set-ups available after 5pm on the 4th. Please
coordinate with Tory Jackson (see sign-up form fro email)
on availablity.) Artists provide their own display stands,
shelters, and all equipment. Protection
from rain and wind is strongly recommended. Overnight
security for display stands and shelters will be provided.
Artists must be present at the show,
and handle the sale of their work. Artists are responsible
for collecting, paying, and filing returns for the 5% Maine
State sales tax on all sales.
Art in the Park Committee reserves
the right to reject material it judges as unacceptable
for display to the general public.
Judging begins at 9:30 am on Saturday, July 5th, for ribbon
awards and cash prizes:
$50 Best in Show and four $25 Honorable
Mention Awards in the categories:
Painting (Watercolor,
Acrylic, Oil, Pastel etc.); Photography; Mixed
Media; Sculpture.
