Provides free local produce to anyone who needs it. There is no criteria to meet and is 100% anonymous. It is an unmanned table. Just take what you need and leave the rest for someone else. The produce is donated by Goranson Farm in Dresden and the LOCAL Garden in Bath. It is located outside the Patten Free Library, next to the gazebo. It is on Thursdays from 3-6 pm. It will run from July to mid October.

Patten Free Library's commemoration of Herman Melville’s 200th birthday ends with a screening of the restored edition of this classic film. John Huston and Ray Bradbury wrote the screenplay. The film stars Gregory Peck, Richard Basehart, and Leo Genn. Independent Melville scholar David Peloquin will host the movie and provide context. The Melville Society has described Peloquin's work on mysticism in Moby-Dick as “entirely fresh and compelling analysis.”
