Local fiber artists will be weaving, spinning, knitting, hand sewing, felting, and doing ropework much like that used in Virginia’s rigging. See techniques both modern and dating from the 17th century; a few have changed very little. Some artists will offer hands-on opportunities as well as demonstrations.
