Bath Farmers Market
May 19, 2020 @ 8:30 am - May 23, 2020 @ 12:00 pm
FreeWelcome to the Bath Farmers Market, open year round. Our summer location at Waterfront Park on Commercial Street makes a joy of social distancing, plenty of vendor space and the river to engage and delight. Our vendors have retooled their operations to maximize safety while ensuring ease of choice, packaging, and payment. So grab a roomy bag or basket, and your list of must haves for this week and come on over. Indulge in breads and pastries from our bakers, with a solid range of gluten free options. Thank the goats, cows and sheep who gave their milk to our cheese makers. Indulge in the landscape of seasonal produce, and right now, flower and vegetable seedlings galore. Look for the freshest of beef, goat, lamb, chicken and poultry. Ah yes, eggs, and duck. Fresh caught fish and shellfish right here too! How ’bout fresh milk and butter? Traditional and seasonal preserves and lactofermented vegetables, or an amazing variety of mushrooms and good things made from them. Enjoy fresh Maine Grains! Italian specialties, microgreens, cut flowers. Linger over beeswax candles and homestead crafts; experience the glory of start to finish Maine wool and blankets. Moving into summer, look for hand woven baskets, cut flowers, wreaths. Grab some just made granola. Looking forward to berries and asparagus and Oriental specialties in June. You are welcome to check out our website at www.bathfarmersmarket.com for more info, including a vendor list. We support SNAP recipients, and hope to revive our token system for all in July. We are unable to offer music right now, but feel free to hum or sing a few bars while you stroll. A list of vendors and locations is available at most vendors or the SNAP table. Check our weekly newsletter here: https://conta.cc/2ZwJsGu . sign up on the website or mail joan.detel@comcast.net. Our summer hours are 8:30 to 12, Saturday mornings. The (awesomely clean) bathrooms are not yet open There is plenty of parking available – just leave the spots behind the vendors free. FMI email joan.detel@comcast.net or call 751 4075. Looking forward to seeing you.
