Join the Friends of Patten Free Library at their Annual Meeting on Thursday October 12th at 6:30 pm for a brief meeting and Guest Author RINKER BUCK will speak about his book, THE OREGON TRAIL: A new American Journey. This book tells his epic journey along the Oregon Trail in a covered wagon with his brother. He is also author of FLIGHT OF PASSAGE, about a coast to coast flight in a piper cub with his older brother, when they were 15 and 17. He has family connections to Maine and is now working on his next book which follows his trip down the Ohio and Mississippi rivers on a 18th century flatboat.
