Jim Mageean and Pat Sheridan, British-based folk singers and international recording artists, will perform traditional sea shanties during an evening celebrating maritime music. Mageean’s world-renowned performances and arrangements have been featured in international festivals, television, and film, including 2003’s Master and Commander:The Far Side of the World. Special guests, Miscellania, Bowdoin College’s female acapella group, will open the show with their rendition of “Roll the Old Chariot” featured in the exhibit, Maritime Music.
