“Treasure Island” (1934)

Special guest, Curt Dale Clark, Artistic Director for Maine State Music Theatre, and co-author of “Treasure Island: A Musical Adventure,” which premieres June 26 and runs through July 13. This film is the first sound version of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale of a young English lad, a one-legged pirate named Long John Silver and a quest for buried treasure. Jackie Cooper, Wallace Beery, Lionel Barrymore, Lewis Stone, and Otto Kruger star. Directed by Victor Fleming.
