Ebb & Flow Yoga
149 Front Street
When did you begin the enterprise?
Ebb and Flow opened in May of 2015
Original owner Sara Kendall was pursuing her dream of owning and operating a yoga studio. The new owner, Courtney MacDonald, (along with office manager Johnna Stanton) is continuing that dream to bring an open, diverse offering of yoga to all members of our city of ships.
What do you offer?
vinyasa flow (both heated and non), yin, restorative, power flow, pilates, Buti, beginner’s yoga series (twice yearly), and yoga for aging gracefully.
Why do you love Bath?
What’s not to love? Bath is a small city where people welcome you, support you, and want you to do well. The community of positive people is only made more positive and balanced with yoga!
What might surprise someone about you or your business?
- We truly believe that yoga is for every BODY and we want you to find a space for yoga in your life, no matter how big or small. 2) We are veteran owned and operated. 3) Johnna does yoga with the Morse athletes on a weekly basis?
What are you excited about in the coming year?
We are working with Main Street Bath on a possible Heritage Days Yoga in the Park; yoga for healthy aging with the Patten Free Library May 5, a Mother’s Day vinyasa flow, more inclusion of teens practicing yoga in and out of the studio, and more classes offered this summer!
In conjunction with a new initiative, we’re also asking: What favorite local non-profits do you support?
Bath Food Bank! We have run several donation-based vinyasa classes to benefit this wonderful group.
