2022 was Bath’s First Annual Winterfest! We are so excited for 2023 and can’t wait to share this experience with you and your family! There is something for everyone and it’s a great way to experience Bath during the wintertime!

Join us for the LANTERN PARADE!


Start out by Bringing Your Own Light! Either a lantern, head light, flash light, phone light, camp lantern, or craft your own paper lantern! There will be several available to grab at the start of the parade.

5:45pm Meet at Five County Credit Union Parking Lot (765 Washington St, Bath, ME 04530).

6:00pm the Drummers from Morse High School will start drumming and the big fluffy Yeti will lead the way!

Walk up to City Hall and down to Linden, over on Washington Street to Library Park

6:15pm Fire Breather Performance!

11:00am -1:00pm Ice Carving Demo at our Pocket Park between Maine Street Design and Lisa Marie’s Made in Maine. Plus Photographer Soggy Dogg Designs will be onsight for some family shots with the ice sculpture! More details on her timing TBA.

10:00am- 2:00pm -Activities in the Grant lot sponsored by Kennebec Meat Company. Kids will get a chance to show off their lassoing skills. There will be cornhole, a fire pit, marshmallow toasting and marshmallow snowman building for all! Tastings and other items will be available in the shop.

A great Book Sale will be happening right around the corner! A great time to stock up on your winter reading!

As part of Winterfest Fun stop by the chess tables at the corner of Front Street and Elm Street. Enjoy a chess game and a cookie. Sponsored by the Age-Friendly Communities of the Lower Kennebec on February 11th from 11:30am-1pm.
