Due to the pending snow storm and the potential for unsafe driving, Main Street Bath’s Friday Events have been moved to join in with Saturday’s Schedule.


Thanks to a generous anonymous donation, SubZero Ice Carvings will be showcasing a huge demo at the Pocket Park at 10am (next to Lisa Marie’s Made in Maine on Front Street), and there will be two other ice sculptures in the downtown to enjoy as you explore shops and restaurants. One should make the PERFECT selfie station. Make sure to tag #mainstreetbath and #bathwinterfest

At Library Park Kids can test their skills at a Winter Gauntlet and participate in a Color Challenge with Frozen Paint brought to us by the Universe Gym. Kids can grab a scavenger hunt list and head downtown to search for clues. Shetland Yard Farm will be joining us with a pony pen for animal lovers to take a moment and pet the ponies. At 2:30pm make sure to pop back for Outdoor YETI YOGA! Exactly as it sounds, and super fun!

2022 Main Street Bath Winterfest Doubles Ace Hole Disc Golf Tournament from 11am-12pm! Come watch 10 hilariously named teams play against each other to win the GLORIOUS trophy and have bragging rights.

Thanks to Midcoast Federal Credit Union, we are able to offer Free Family Disc Golf from 12pm- 4pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday! We are delighted to give families a chance to learn this fun sport in a way that doesn’t cost and has low to no pressure!

Great Works Landscape and Union & Co bring us The Grant Lot Spot (behind 31 Centre Street) with John Stenquist’s Fire Sculpture and a public Snow Man Build. No need to bring your own supplies, Snow Men will be stocked with free decorative buttons, scarves and other supplies kindly donated by R.M. Tates Salvage Warehouse.

The Friends of Patten Free Library will be hosting a Winterfest Book Sale at 84 Front Street, featuring History, Biographies, Arts & Entertainment, Cookbooks and Women’s Studies. February 26th from 9:30-430pm and February 27th from 9:30am-2:00pm.

Winter Chess will be available along with cocoa and cookies at the corner of Elm and Front Street (locally known as Elm Street Plaza). This is brought to us by Age Friendly Communities of the Lower Kennebec. 11am-1pm.

Kennebec Estuary Land Trust will be hosting Educational Demo’s at Waterfront Park (65 Commercial Street) where you can learn about Winter Animal Tracks and test out Snowshoes. 11am-2pm.

If you happen to be there around 11am, you will witness a performance from Urban Dynamix Dance Company!

Maine’s First Ship will fire their cannon for the very first time at High Noon! Make sure to head over to their location at 27 Commercial Street so you can see this important, historical moment!

COME ONE AND ALL to our Rescheduled LANTERN PARADE starting at 31 Centre Street at 6pm. Grab a head lamp, camp lantern, your pre-made paper lanterns or one of ours that we are handing out! Be a part of the light in the dark as we wind our way up Centre Street to City Hall, down Front Street to Linden Street, and then up to Library Park. The Party Performers will be there to dazzle us with their Fire Dance! This is going to be one of the most visually memorable moments of the entire Winterfest! You don’t want to miss this! Comedy Night @ Bath Brewing Company! Saturday 2/26/22 7pm-8:15pm (in the Bar/Pub area). Johnny Ater is one of our favorite local standup comedians.  He’s played at the Chocolate Church, Baxter Brewing, Johnson Hall, and we’re very happy to see him here at Bath Brewing!  Come join them for a beer and some laughs!

Bruno’s Wood Fired Pizzeria has a large line up of stand up acts with their Comedy Evening : Bob Giannini, Jareth Johnson, Al Ghanekar, Ben Chadwick, and Gabriel Beury-Moore. Starting at 7pm and NOT a show for kids, plan on an evening of laughter and sarcasm.


Brunch at Mae’s Cafe, Byrne’s Irish Pub, Southgate Family Restaurant or The Galley Restaurant will fill you up with the hearty sustenance you need to test your family on a game at the Winter Disc Golf Course, catch up on all the Kid’s Winter Activities at Library Park. Yeti Yoga will be held once again at 2:30pm. Enjoy all Bath has to offer by touring the Maine Maritime Museum before heading back to your hometown.
