Red Cloak Tours

Red Cloak Tours will offer 4 different walking tours in Bath through December 2020, as well as the opportunity to have us come into your home for zoom presentations. These are held on the hour daily from 8 am to 8 pm.

An historic tour of downtown Bath is available as well as an haunted history tour of Washington Street with its’ amazing architecture. We also offer a tour on Emma Eames, famous opera singer from Bath, and a walk through Oak Grove Cemetery which discusses the meanings of symbols, those interred there, cemetery lore, etc.

Walking tours are private for your family or small group, conducted in person, live, via cell phone conference call. You’ll have your own storyteller/historian to guide you from point to point, share the stories and to answer questions and personalize for you if possible.

Zoom presentations are available on the walking tour subjects as well as Maine Legends, Ghosts of Christmas Past, Lighthouse Legends & Lore, Colonial Foods and more.

Christmas Caroling Sunday, December 22, leaving the church at 2:00 p.m. We will be carpooling to several nursing homes in Bath and Brunswick to sing carols. Community members welcome!

A Heifer Christmas

A Heifer Christmas is this year’s children’s program on Sunday, December 22 at 10:15 a.m. Kids will share the miracle of Christmas through the mission of Heifer International in which they have been purchasing animals for communities around the world.

Old Fashioned Christmas Community Dance

Looking  for a way to celebrate the week’s end with friends or family in Bath?

There will  be an Old- Time  Community Dance on Sunday, December 15th from 3:00-4:30 at Bath Dance Works. It will take place in an old ballroom located at 72 Front Street in Bath  on the 3rd Floor.

This is a perfect activity for families, couples and singles looking for some good old -fashioned community fun.  All dances are taught and there will be live music by local fiddlers.   All ages are welcome to come and listen to the music or dance.   Learning to do a simple dance is a great  to socialize and  get some exercise while strengthening your memory and coordination.   Circle right!  Elbow swing! Cast off!  Welcome in winter solstice and the Christmas season while moving to the beat in downtown Bath.

Artist/Maker’s Holiday Pop Up Fair & Winter Art Opening

Join us at Concinnity Deli & Lounge for a mini artist and maker’s pop up fair. There will be several local Maine venders with a variety of different works– from handcrafted cutting boards and jewelry, to stickers, flowers, and more! This is a great place to get stocking stuffers and other holiday gifts. It’s our first year doing it so make sure you come out and support the great local artists featured. To top it all off, Concinnity will have some special goodies available too!

Bath Community Longest Night Gathering

The Neighborhood will be hosting Bath’s Longest Night Gathering this year’s.

This time of visiting, listening, and prayer, organized by several faith communities in Bath, is offered especially for people for whom the holidays are a difficult time. All are welcome and invited to bring a poem, a prayer, a song – or simply bring yourself.

The Neighborhood is located at 798 Washington Street, in the corner of Center and Washington Streets in Bath.

Blue Christmas Service

Celtic Christmas with The Montsweagers
