Maine's First Ship presents Summer at the Freight Shed Try your hand at knot tying with Virginia's rigger, Jim Nelson. Learn to tie the sailor's most important knots and make your own knot board!  Jim will be working on the rigging all day --stop by to give him a break and you'll make a friend as well as learn a new skill.

Fish Lecture Series:  Maine's Atlantic Salmon Kennebec Estuary Land Trust and Midcoast Conservancy Join John Burows, from the Atlantic Salmon Federation, and Paul Christman, from the Department of Marine Resources, to discuss the state of Maine's Atlantic salmon.  These two experts will present about the state of Atlantic salmon in Maine and restoration projects in the Kennebec, Androscoggin, and Sheepscot Rivers.
