Join us for a mid-day movie and some nourishment!  We'll start at noon.  Open to all in grades six through twelve.  Enjoy a movie in the comfort of our Teen Space.  We can accommodate the first twenty people to arrive.

Teen Space Maker Project: Make an LED Pendant

Learn about soldering, circuitry, and jewelry-making all at once!  We'll be experimenting with lots of wire, very tiny LED lights, small batteries, and a soldering iron to make LED creations, including light-up pendants.  Snacks, too. Trudy Callaghan in Concert

Trudy Callaghan, originally from County Meath in Ireland, now lives in Deering Center, Portland. She draws upon a rich tradition of Irish and Scottish songs, as well as English broadside ballads. It’s a unique mix – from sweet melodies to strong narratives. A brief description before each song helps anchor it in time and place, while the songs themselves open up a window onto times past – from love songs to songs of trades long gone – ploughmen, shoemakers, blacksmiths…
