Wags & Whiskers, 180 Front Street. Regan Reed, Owner  www.bathwags.com

When did you begin the enterprise?  November of 2010.

Why? We were traveling either 30 minutes North or 40 minutes South to get good dog food; coincidentally, we figured others must be doing the same. We happened to see Jane Morse hanging a “For Rent” sign in an empty store front window and decided to give it a go.

What do you offer? Food and Treats for Cats and Dogs that are free of Corn, Soy, Wheat, By-Products and that are all sourced in the USA or Canada.

Why do you love Bath? The size of the town and the people. How people here understand the need for shopping local and supporting one another.

What might surprise someone about you or your business? We are CHEAPER than the big box stores! And we also have a self-service dog wash.

What are you excited about in the coming year? More growth! We are always bringing in new foods and treats per our customers’ suggestions. We would also like to add more space for leashes, collars, harnesses and toys.
