Event: Kayak Adventures in Merrymeeting Bay
When: Sun, Sep 19 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Description: Enjoy a four-hour expedition of Merrymeeting Bay led by registered Maine Guides and members of local environmental organizations. Your guide will interpret the area’s extraordinary ecological vitality, its abundant wildlife such as seals, osprey and eagles and the challenges facing the Bay. No previous kayaking experience is necessary and disability accomodations are available. Paddle solo or with a partner. All necessary equipment is provided: kayak, paddle and PFD. Paddlers should bring appropriate clothing, water and lunch and a camera. Directions to the launch site will be e-mailed before the date.
