Main Street Bath is a non profit that works under the Maine Downtown Center, Main Street America and the National Historic Trust.
While we have a staff of two, the work we do is heavily powered by an army of committed volunteers. We promote small businesses, organize free community events and build projects to preserve the unique architectural and maritime history of the City of Ships.

That's the mission of Main Street Bath, however our outreach serves the entire region with our tourism hub, The Bath Regional Information Center, our website and our area Map & Brochure. Bath is the service center and downtown to Phippsburg, Popham, West Bath, Woolwich, Georgetown, Arroswic and Bath at large.
Our committees gather each month to further their workplan which encompasses a holistic approach to a thriving downtown. Elements of Promotion, Design, Economic Vitality and Organizaiton are required for the Main Street Program to succeed.
And we've proven our value by winning the Great American Main Street Award in 2012; National recognition for our Main Street Program.
